Schirkos End: She left a letter next to her about how she was waiting and his pot malfunctioned.
(I am assuming he meant Pot and not Pod)
Tokyo. I found myself standing on the cliff of a mountain looking out at Tokyo. Or what I assumed was Tokyo. Perhaps this was what the world had rebuilt. It was magnificent. The buildings bigger than before. More lights. More everything. There was even a forest reaching from the mountain side to the city. I fell to my knees and smiled. But that smile quickly faded when I looked to my left. Sitting there next to the entrance of the tunnel was a skeleton. In that skeletons hand was a note. On it, it said, To Junichi. It couldn’t be. I didn’t want to know the contents of the letter, but that was the only way I could know for sure whose skeleton this was.
“Dear Junichi,
If you ever get this, I’d like you to know that I waited. I sat by and waited for weeks for your pod to open. But it never did. I waited weeks, but you never came out of the pod. We found your pot stash. You had it growing right outside the tunnel. I don’t know how you managed to do that. But I waited for you. I waited for you for so long. I waited so long that I damaged myself in the process. I’m dying. Love, Tomari.”
No, she couldn’t have. She couldn’t have found out about my pot plant! Impossible! Well, now all that’s left to do is kill myself. And so I jumped off the mountain.

Wow, that was a pretty damned nice read. You’re pretty skilled at writing. I greatly enjoyed the 9 sections, as well as how you offered Stay/Leave as a choice to advance towards two different endings. To be honest though, I felt that the “Extra” section was much weaker than the rest of the story. I would have enjoyed a cliched awakening to an even greater world than the one he lived in the past more than how it played out. I don’t know, the idea seems good, but I don’t like how it was presented I guess? Seems kind of contradictory to what the other Junichi was expecting from him too. I’m a horrible critic, aren’t I? In any case, good job on this. I’ll be looking forward to anything else like this in the future.
