Term thrown around by Daru, Okabe, and Kurisu. Means “Pervert” in English. Though Daru doesn’t seem to mind.

【TIP 3】 Lab Members
Members of the Institute for Future Gadgets. Founding members No. 001~003 are Okabe, Mayuri, and Daru. Later on, Kurisu became No. 004 after coming into the lab.
【TIP 4】 The Zombie
Another nickname given to Kurisu by Okabe. He is, of course, referencing the fact that he found her stabbed to death in the Radio Hall and now she is standing here, alive.
【TIP 5】 Time Machine
Used to navigate through time and space (past or future). In this World Line (2010), it has been said to be impossible. Okabe developed the Phone Range (Tentative title), but had no idea it was to function as a sort of time machine.
【TIP 6】 Shining Finger
岡部が桐生萌郁につけた呼び名。ケータイメールを打つ彼女の運指があまりにも速いことが名前の由来であり、「閃光の指圧師」と表記される。なお、実際に指が輝いて見えるわけでもなく、ましてや「俺のこの手が光って唸る！」という技を指しているわけでもない。
【TIP 7】 Sanpo
A beef bowl restaurant established in a street alley in Akihabara. Obake and Daru are frequent customers. You can’t use cell phones here.
【TIP 8】 LHC（Large Hadron Collider）(discussed more in the Physics section)
Owned by SERN, the LHC is a 27km long particle accelerator. It can possibly generate mini black holes. According to John Titor, by 2034, SERN has successfully, by using the LHC, commercialized time machines.
【TIP 9】 Canned Oden
秋葉原の片隅にある自動販売機で売られているおでん入りの缶詰。アキバっ子のソウルフードだったが、近頃ではアキバ名物としても知られている。おでんのハイシーズンは秋から冬にかけてだが、おでん缶は季節を問わずいつも熱々。
【TIP 10】 Rai-net Sausage
人気アニメ番組「雷ネット翔」のソーセージ。オマケとしてボトルキャップが封入されており、その種類はなんと99種類もある。「雷ネット翔」の熱烈なファンであるまゆりは、雷ネットソーセージを買い続けている。
【TIP 11】 Human is Dead,mismatch
ダルがハッキングしたSERN職員の電子メールに書かれていた言葉。SERNがすでにミニブラックホールの生成に成功しており、それに関連した目的不明の実験が繰り返されていることを示す内容が記されていた。「Human is Dead,mismatch」の文字はその実験結果とおぼしきメールに記されていたが、これが何を意味するかは今のところ不明である。
